Features of St.James
We are the home of the St. James Hockey Academy, currently offered from grade 9 to grade 12. This is the first CHA (Canadian Hockey Association) accredited program in Canada. The on and off-ice curriculum was developed by hockey fitness experts such as Dave King. Our Professional teachers have received training through the National Training Program, have their Intermediate Coaching level, and have played at a highly competitive level. Visit the Hockey Academy

Cosmetology
Cosmetology is a program designed to introduce individuals to the beauty industry . The course includes hair care and esthetics. There has never been a better time to enter the beauty industry.
Presently the Canadian job market is in great demand for qualified cosmetologists. As a graduate of St. James Collegiate the student will acquire the necessary skills to enter the apprenticeship program. As a cosmetologist the chance of employment is almost 100%. More and more salons are looking for stylists that are ready to show off their artistic talents!

The Academy of Science & Technology
Combining academics with hands-on technical skills and dealing with environmental issues, students rotate through various modules, learn through modular activities, group discussion and teamwork design projects. Activities are designed so students taking either Integrated Technology Concepts (ITC) or Integrated Systems Technology (IST) use the same technologies being used in industry thus better preparing the students for employment.
This program provides opportunities for students to experience new and innovative technologies. Skilled training is provided in the following areas:
